Youth animator
FULL-TIME JOB
Job description:
Under the supervision of management, the animator is responsible in welcoming the participants, evaluate their needs and interest, participate in the planning and organization of activities and events, participate in teamwork, compile statistics and applications and also provide a safe and healthy environment for everyone. This program reaches out to youth in the community and schools in the region of the
Profile:
• College or University degree in Special Education, Social Work, Leisure and Sport or relevant experience in the field
• Experience in working with young people aged 6 to 17 years
• Knowledge of community and school of the Pontiac region
• Dynamic and well organized person
• Bilingual English-French spoken and written
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• CPR and First Aid (can be obtained after hiring)

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Leadership
• Availability to work evenings and weekends and adjust to a varied and flexible schedule
Terms of use:
• Hourly rate is variable according to the pay scale, experience and qualification
• Provide mandatory minimum availability (day, evening and night)
